City Garbage Collection Won't Be Delayed by MLK Day

However, Joliet City Hall will be closed and there will be no fees to park at city decks or meters.

The Martin Luther King holiday on Jan. 20 will not affect garbage or recycling collection, according to a news release from the city of Joliet.

However, Joliet City Hall will be closed and there will be no charge to park in downtown city parking lots or at parking meters.

Drivers will still have to pay a daily fee to park at commuter lots.
