Happy Mother’s Day From Jeaneen Williams
"She raised eight kids alone with no help — just a lot of hard work and determination to give her kids the best life she could."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Jeaneen Williams' letter to her mom:
When it comes to my mom, there are no words to describe the love I have for her and all the things she has instilled in me and my siblings. She raised eight kids alone with no help — just a lot of hard work and strong determination to give her kids the best life that she could.
I can remember days when she would come home after doing midnight shifts at a local nursing home. Her back hurt, her body was sore, but she kept going, kept pushing. My mom provided her kids with a strong work ethic, determination, a "never give up" attitude and lots of love and respect.
One of my fondest memories are of holidays. Christmas was always the best, with great food (she’s a great cook) and Christmas goodies. In the summer, we’d have the best barbecues.
Now my mom is the grandmother to 17 grandchildren and has numerous great-grand babies and relatives who love and appreciate all she’s done for us.
I hope when she reads this, she feels all the love and joy that she has bestowed upon so many and realizes how loved and appreciated she is.
We love you, Mom, always and forever.
