Happy Mother's Day To Mama Rachel

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday, May 12, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Mommy Alex and Jay's letter to Mama Rachel:

Today I write you a letter just to explain to you why I believe you to be one of the biggest blessings in my life. Jason is my world, and seeing the bond you two have created has been the best part of becoming a family.

Jay carries himself with the biggest heart and an even bigger smile. You teach him manners and respect, and you show him that this world is built up of finer things than it lets on. It’s not always about the money, but instead of the thought in the action behind the jester. You mold him to be a man of his word and have helped me raise a very smart outgoing wild big boy.

You bring out the best in him with the unconditional love and the care you give him as well as the discipline you provide keeps him grounded. I wouldn’t ask for anything other than what God has handed us and that's my love with you. Happy Mother’s Day to the bestest Mommy in the universe!
