JOLIET, IL — There are hundreds of video camera monitors positioned throughout the downtown Joliet Harrah's Casino but video cameras are not placed in the bathrooms, according to staff. Last week, a 2019 patron of Harrah's Casino filed a lawsuit, claiming he slipped, fell and injured himself in one of the men's bathrooms at Harrah's, 151 North Joliet St.

Thomas Grabowski has hired Will County's largest law firm, Rathbun, Cservenyak and Kozol to represent him. According to their general negligence lawsuit filed at the new Will County Courthouse, Harrah's Joliet consists of 39,000-square-feet of casino space, 39 table games and 1,086 slot machines. "On the aforesaid day and in the aforementioned men's bathroom, plaintiff, Thomas Grabowski, was then caused to slip, stumble and violently fall due to an unnatural and hazardous accumulation of liquid on the floor near the main entrance," states Rathbun, Cservenyak and Kozol.

The lawsuit maintains that Grabowski had been exercising due care as a customer and a business invite on the property owned and managed by Harrah's, the defendant.
