He 'Was Intoxicated And Urinating All Over The Bathroom Floor': Cops
Joliet police arrested 50-year-old John Street resident Bryan Niedermeyer, 50, on charges of domestic battery.

JOLIET, IL ? Joliet 50-year-old Joliet Bryan Niedermeyer of John Street was arrested on more domestic violence charges filed by Joliet police, and Will County Judge Ted Jarz ordered his release, over the objections of prosecutors.
Judge Jarz could have kept Niedermeyer in the Will County Jail under the Illinois SAFE-T-Act, but chose not to do that. The criminal complaint noted that Niedermeyer was convicted of a 2021 domestic battery crime against the same victim as last week's arrest.
This time, Niedermeyer faces three counts of domestic battery from the Joliet police force.

The victim told Joliet police that Niedermeyer was intoxicated and urinating all over the bathroom floor, and she tried to stop by putting towels on the ground, court records show. Niedermeyer then pushed her several times and pulled her by the back of her hair to the ground, prosecutors told Judge Jarz.
The woman's three children pushed Niedermeyer to the ground. At one point, Niedermeyer managed to grab her hair and pull her toward the door frame, and the right side of her head hit the door frame, she told the police. Officers saw swelling on the right side of her head.
The woman's children supported her version of events, and one of them told the officers that Niedermeyer struck their mother with a closed fist once to her head.
The woman told police she has been physically abused by him in the past, court files show. She was named as a victim in Niedermeyer's 2021 Will County domestic battery and his 2018 domestic battery, prosecutors explained.
