Help The Juarez Family Medical Expenses

JOLIET, IL — Former Joliet area state senate candidate Tom McCullagh has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help a local family whose two sons were seriously hurt in Sunday's wreck along Plainfield Road in Joliet.

"Phillip and Valerie Juarez along with their 2 sons ages 8 and 14 were traveling in Joliet when a driver crossed the center divide and struck them head on," McCullagh's GoFundMe announced. "Phillip and his wife Valerie suffered major injuries and their 2 sons suffered life -threatening injuries."

According to McCullagh, Phillip and Valerie Juarez are both active in the community and their local churches.

"Please chip in, they did not ask for this help and are unaware of the effort as they are still in the hospital," he wrote.
