Jefferson St. Gun Arrest Involves Dixmoor Driver: Police
The 27-year-old woman from Dixmoor was stopped by Joliet police in the 1800 block of West Jefferson Street on Tuesday night.

JOLIET, IL — A 27-year-old woman from Dixmoor was arrested by Joliet police Tuesday night after police say she had a gun under her seat that she didn't have authority to possess. Joliet police arrested Brianna Warr on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a gun with a revoked FOID, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joliet police pulled over Warr's car around 9:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Jefferson Street following a traffic stop. Her car smelled of marijuana so a Will County Sheriff's Office drug dog was called to the scene and the dog smelled marijuana in the vehicle, according to police.
As Joliet police searched Warr's car, "Officers located a handgun under the driver’s seat as well as drug paraphernalia," police reports show. "Officers determined that Warr’s FOID card was revoked. Warr was taken into custody without incident."
