Job Seekers: Visit The Mobile Workforce Center In March

If you’re looking for a job, the Mobile Workforce Center of Will County is here to help. The mobile unit has released their March schedule for Will County residents. The March schedule includes the following locations and times:

· Mondays: Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff in Bolingbrook – 9:30 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

· Tuesdays: University Park Village Hall, 698 Burnham Drive in University Park – 9:30 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

· Wednesdays: Plainfield Public Library, 15025 S. Illinois St. in Plainfield – 9:30 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

· Thursday: Wilmington Public Library District, 201 S. Kankakee St. in Wilmington – 9:30 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

· Fridays: Frankfort Public Library District, 21119 S. Pfeiffer Road in Frankfort – 9:30 a.m. to Noon and Mokena Community Public Library, 11327 W. 195^th St. in Mokena – 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Residents seeking jobs are encouraged to visit the Mobile Workforce Center. In addition to assisting with resume and cover letter writing as well as job applications, the unit contains other useful tools for job seekers including internet access, 11 computer stations and keyboarding lessons. Additionally, resume and job search assistance is available through several online listings. All services are offered at no cost.

“We’re broadcasting these workshops to the Mobile Workshop Center in order to make it easier for people in other parts of the county to have access to them,” said Susan Flessner, administrative manager of the Workforce Services Division.

Since the top of this year, the Workforce Center of Will County has broadcast job search workshops via Facebook Live to the Mobile Workforce Center. The Workforce Center of Will County also hosts weekly job fairs and several other workshops and events from their Joliet location at 2400 Glenwood Ave.
