Age 73, passed away December 28, 2013, joining his beloved wife, Annie.
Preceded in death by parents, Emmitt and Sara McAfee, and seven siblings.

John is survived by his children, Sarah McGaughy, Tracy McClendon and Crystal Smith; extended children, Barbara McGaughy, Diane Reed, Tina McGaughy, Andrea Finch, Larry McGaughy, Ronald McGaughy and Maurice McGaughy; three siblings; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation Thursday, January 2, 2014, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 7:00PM at St. John M.B. Church, 104 E. Zarley Blvd., Joliet, IL. Service at 7:00PM, Pastor Herbert Brooks officiating. Interment Friday, January 3, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Elmhurst Cemetery.
