Joliet Cocaine Dealer Arrested By State Police: Complaint
Cody McCormick was booked into the Will County Jail on three felony drug charges.

JOLIET, IL — Bail has been set at $15,000 for a 21-year-old Joliet man who faces multiple charges of dealing cocaine during the month of January. Cody James Edward McCormick, who lives in the 900 block of Cora Street, is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.
The criminal complaint was submitted by the Cooperative Police Assistance Team, a multi-jurisdictional unit of police officers from several different agencies.
Will County Jail records indicate the Illinois State Police made the arrest.

On Jan. 13, McCormick delivered 1 to 15 grams of cocaine to someone, and two weeks later, on Jan. 27, he delivered another 1 to 15 grams of cocaine to someone, his criminal complaint states.
The unlawful possession charge indicates that McCormick "knowingly and unlawfully" possessed cocaine on Jan. 27.

McCormick remained in the Will County Jail on Friday, unable to post 10 percent of his $15,000 bail, records show.
