Joliet Drivers Facility Closed: Employee Tests Positive For COVID

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet drivers services facility, 201 S. Joyce Road, is closed until further notice after an employee tested positive for coronavirus, Secretary of State Jesse White's office said.

Drivers are encouraged to visit the nearest facilities: Naperville, 931 W. 75th St., Ste.
161; or Morris, 425 East Route 6.

The closing comes days after the Schaumburg location also shut down due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

While most driver's facilities have reopened, the Tinley Park location in the town's village hall has permanently closed, and the Chicago Heights location is temporarily closed — for at least a month — after a fire was set at the facility.
