Accused Joliet Drug Dealer Arrested With Gun During Raid: JPD
Joliet Patch has written several crime stories about Damon Mills. Police arrested him again Wednesday afternoon during a raid.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police arrested 21-year-old Damon Mills late Wednesday afternoon during a raid at a house in the 800 block of Richards Street. Officers seized lots of Xanax, cocaine, marijuana, more than $5,000 cash and a loaded gun, police said.
Mills was booked into the Will County Jail and charged with two counts of possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver, being an armed habitual criminal, armed violence, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
Joliet police also arrested 18-year-old Joliet resident Ryan Juskie on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Joliet police raided the house on Richards around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
"Mills and Juskie were located within the residence and taken into custody without incident," police said.

Mills lives in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue, jail records show. He also spent time in the Will County Jail in 2020, 2019 and 2018, records indicate. Mills' past criminal convictions include car burglaries, Joliet Patch has reported.
