Joliet Employee Pensions

Why is it the city of Joliet allows these public employees i.e. police , fireman , teachers/ supervisors excessively high paychecks , benefits and ridiculous high pensions on the backs of the taxpayers. Many of these so called public employees are making way more and over double the paycheck of the majority of the citizen taxpayers in Joliet and Will County. Then they cash out their pensions and add to it with their so called bonus days. This is almost unheard of in private industry. While people are struggling and living paycheck to paycheck. These scammers are cashing in. All the while saying they earned it. With the likes of for your safety or for your protection or for your children. out taxes including enormous property taxes in this city and county are ridiculous high. Mainly because of these taxpayers getting screwed by these people and the leaders of this area. While this city and county is reaping in record tax revenues from all the businesses coming to this area they are taxing the people to death. Way past time for a change
