Joliet Heroin Dealing Defendant Faces 3 Charges

Joliet police obtained a felony warrant for the arrest of Malik A. Morgan. The 22-year-old resident of Dixon Avenue remains at large.

JOLIET, IL —Joliet police have obtained a felony warrant for the arrest of a 22-year-old man suspected of dealing heroin and cocaine in the community. Malik A. Morgan, who lives in the 400 block of Dixon Avenue, has been charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

The Joliet Police Department's criminal complaint states that Morgan delivered 1 to 15 grams of heroin on March 7, 2019, and 1 to 15 grams of cocaine on March 12, 2019. The criminal complaint also states Morgan delivered cocaine on March 5, 2019.

A Will County judge has set Morgan's bail at $80,000 upon his capture by Joliet police. As of April 20, Morgan had not been taken into custody.
