Joliet Man Charged in Crash that Injured Five, Police Say

Daniel Arreola-Rosales, charged with driving without a license, said his vision was temporarily blocked by the sun, a Will County sheriff's spokeswoman said.

A Joliet man blamed the sun for blocking his view and causing an accident in Homer Glen that injured five people Wednesday, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office.

The accident occurred at about 3:45 p.m. on Hadley Road, sheriff's spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer said in a story published by the Joliet Herald News.

Daniel Arreola-Rosales, 26, of 1112 Parkwood, reportedly rear-ended a Mazda that was stopped for a school bus, pushing it into a Ford Escape that was also stopped, the story said.
