Joliet Man Jailed On Child Pornography Charges
Joliet police officers arrested the 24-year-old in connection with allegations he possessed child pornography in 2018.

JOLIET, IL — Bail has been set at $200,000 for a 24-year-old Joliet man recently arrested on four counts of possessing child pornography.
Michael Nye, who lives in the 300 block of Marble Street, has remained in the Will County Jail since Joliet police arrested him April 9.
His next appearance at the Will County Courthouse is set for May 4. The criminal complaint accuses Nye of possessing computer files during the month of June 2018 that showed a girl under the age of 13 without clothes.

In the event that Nye can post his bond, the Joliet man is prohibited from accessing the Internet, and he cannot have any contact with minors, court documents show.
