Joliet Man Threatened To Show Nude Photos Of Woman: Complaint
The 32-year-old Joliet man who lives on Gael Drive was arrested last week by Will County Sheriff's deputies.

JOLIET, IL —A 32-year-old Joliet man who lives near Black Road was arrested last week by the Will County Sheriff's Office in connection with allegations that he obtained nude photos of a woman and threatened to show them to other people.
The Will County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation that resulted in the arrest of Jason Cardenas, who lives in the 1000 block of Gael Drive. The Will County State's Attorney's Office charged Cardenas with a felony offense of intimation and two additional charges of assault and disorderly conduct.
On Feb. 17, Cardenas tried to coerce a woman to consent to a sexual act by threatening to expose her to ridicule, court documents state. Cardenas showed her digital images that purported to show her nude, and he threatened to share the images, the criminal complaint against him said.

As for the charges of assault and the one for disorderly conduct, the complaint states that he reached his hand toward the thigh of the woman and did so "in such unreasonable manner as to alarm or disturb another ... and provoke a breach of peace."
After spending about 24 hours in the Will County Jail, Cardenas was freed on Thursday night after posting 10 percent of his $3,000 bail, jail records show.
