Joliet Man Tries Strangling Woman In His Bedroom: Prosecutors
The Will County State's Attorney's Office has charged Vasilije Sekularac with three crimes following his Joliet police arrest June 19.

JOLIET, IL — A Will County judge has set bail at $5,000 for a 33-year-old Joliet man charged with aggravated domestic battery, unlawful restraint and domestic battery.
Prosecutors say Vasilije Sekularac tried to strangle a female relative or household member inside his bedroom in the 400 block of High Street last Saturday night. Joliet police made the arrest.
One of the charges states the "defendant knowingly without legal authority detained another (person) in a bedroom at 411 High Street, Joliet."

Sekularac remained in the Will County Jail on Wednesday evening, unable to post 10 percent of his bail, jail records show.
