Joliet Meth Dealing Suspect Arrested On Drug Charges

The 36-year-old Joliet man now faces three counts of unlawful delivery of controlled substances.

JOLIET, IL — A 36-year-old Joliet man was arrested late Wednesday afternoon in connection with allegations of dealing meth and selling Ecstasy pills on the city's southeast side.

Ernest Summit was booked into the Will County Jail on charges of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

Around 4:45 p.m., Joliet officers saw Summit inside a vehicle near South Desplaines and Dekalb streets, police said. Joliet police say they had an active arrest warrant for Summit in connection the allegations that Summit was suspected selling Ecstasy pills.

Officers contacted Summit and placed him into custody without incident.
