"Upon approaching the passenger side deputies observed Dimitroff with a bag on her lap. As deputies performed their search they discovered inside the bag, several small bags of a powdery substance, 14 cut straws with a powdery residue inside, a prescription bottle, and various other pills and smoking devises. A field test at the scene produced a positive reaction to probable presence of heroin in the small bags," sheriff's reports show.
The driver and Dimitroff were taken to the Will County Sheriff’s Office for further questioning. The driver was released without charges. Dimitroff was taken into custody and charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver.
Dimitroff remained in the Will County Jail unable to post 10 percent of her bail as of March 15.
