Joliet Woman Who Attacked Minooka Officer Faces Warrant: Police
Will County Judge Vincent Cornelius has set bail at $25,000 for the 45-year-old Joliet woman who lives in a house near Ridge Road.

JOLIET, IL — A Will County judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of a 45-year-old Joliet woman who is accused of attacking a Minooka police officer while she was responding to a domestic violence incident. Last week, Judge Vincent Cornelius set bail at $25,000 for Amanda J. Robinson, who lives in the 1400 block of Bellflower Lane, off Ridge Road.
As of April 11, Robinson had not been taken into the custody of the Will County Jail. Robinson is charged with one count of aggravated battery and three counts of domestic battery.
According to the criminal complaint, Robinson kicked Minooka police officer Jamie Picha "about her body" on April 3, "knowing Jamie Picha to be a peace officer performing her official duties."

The three domestic battery charges indicate Robinson grabbed a woman who is a member of her family or household "by the hair" on April 3.
Robinson is also accused of striking the same woman about her body and having "dragged (the victim) down a flight of stairs," the criminal complaint states.
