Joseph Oscar Gutierrez, age 85 years old, died Monday, November 25, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Roselle, Ill., he resided in Peoria for many years. He lived in Joliet for the last year. While in Peoria, he operated Mulvaney's and the Jig Salon.
Preceded in death by his wife Barbara, three sons and one grandson.
Joseph is survived by his daughters Carmen Ross of Calera, Okla., and Susan Parks and Vicky Aguirae, both of Joliet; son Robby Gutierrez of Marshalltown, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 29, at St. Mary's Church, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, 2416 N. North St., Peoria, IL, 61604; 309-688-4441.
