Juanita Turner Obituary

Juanita L. Turner, age 47, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at her residence. Born in Milwaukee, Wis., she resided in the Joliet/Lockport area since 1970. 

She graduated from Joliet Township High School in 1984 with a basketball scholarship to Lincoln University.

Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Margie Turner. 

Juanita is survived by her sons, Willie O. Yarbrough and Victor M. Williams, both of Joliet; three grandchildren, NyAilah, N'Marion and Nehemiah; three sisters, Margaret Tate, Mary Blackmon and Ruby Craft; and eight brothers, Henry, Larry, Robert, Martin, Michael, Gregory, Omar and William Turner. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Range Funeral Home, 202 S. Eastern Ave., Joliet, Ill. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., with the Rev. Phillip Clarke officiating.
