Joliet Dog Lost For More Than A Week: Macy Is Found

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet woman who reached out to Joliet Patch a week ago in hopes of alerting others that her small dog named Macy was missing, had some happy news to share.

"Macy has been FOUND My goodness after one whole week she’s finally home safe and sound. This is surreal," wrote Mireya Hurtado.

"Our heart melts knowing we had so much support from family, friends, even caring strangers. We are incredibly thankful for each and every one of you. Our hearts are filled with so much joy, so much emotions. We CAN NOT thank you all enough. To the gentleman and his family who found Macy, you are ANGELS as well as everyone else on here! Family, friends and new friends, remember, NEVER lose hope. Always remain positive! We seriously can’t express these emotions right now. Our family is complete again. Thank you a million times.
