Preceded in death by his father; grandparents Ira and Rosa Barber; and uncles Donald and Wilbur Barber and Walter Whitehead.

Survived by his wife, Gloria “Sugawuga” Coble-Barber; mother Geraldine “Jet” Barber; sons Loushaun (Chandra) Barber, Louis and Anthony Lott; daughters Lousharma (Michael) Crowder, Sherina Lott and Tushonda McIntosh; sisters Lois Barber, Rosanne (Obie) Pork, Barbara and Betty Hite and Geneva Kimbrough; brother Michael (Annette) Barber; numerous aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, December 4, 2013, from noon to 2:00 PM at the funeral home and 4:00-6:00 PM at Brown Chapel AME Church, 1502 Mills Road, Joliet, IL. Service at 6:00 PM, Pastor James Hamilton, officiating. Interment Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Elmhurst Cemetery.
