Man, 35, Shot Near Ingalls Avenue Park In Joliet
Friday's shooting happened near a park on Joliet's Ingalls Avenue and Infantry Drive.

JOLIET, IL — A 35-year-old man suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds late Friday afternoon on Joliet's west side. According to Joliet Police Sgt. Dwayne English, officers first learned of the shooting around 3:45 p.m. after the shooting victim arrived at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center emergency room.
Police say the shooting victim was dropped off at the hospital by a friend of his.
"The male victim indicated that he was at the park located at Ingalls Avenue and Infantry Drive when he heard multiple gunshots. The victim claimed that he felt pain in his arm and realized he had been shot," police reports show. "Victim then went to the hospital for treatment."

Joliet police say they don't have any suspects at this time. The victim was shot in the arm.
