Massive Free Kids Event Set for Saturday in Joliet

Looking for something to do this weekend around Joliet? Check out some of these options from around town.

Hard rock band Black Stone Cherry, which has a large national following, will appear at Mojoes of Joliet at 7 p.m. Saturday. Check out more information here. 

Another great option for the young ones is the downtown Joliet Kidzfest. Starting at 10 a.m Saturday and presented by Joliet City Center Partnership - Kidzfest is a children’s wonderland on the streets of downtown Joliet, where families can explore, create, play and imagine all for free. Check here for more details. 

Finally, if you're looking for a final summer fest before school starts, check out RomeoFest. The event features two fireworks displays, scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Friday and Sunday, as well as a full schedule of live music, food vendors and plenty of activities for the whole family. The fest opens at 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and noon Saturday and Sunday.
