More Stardom For Joliet: 'Single Drunk Female' Filming Here?
Two television crews are filming at different locations across Joliet this week. One is at the Rialto and the other is on Mason Street.

JOLIET, IL — More than 100 people with a television film and production crew are using Joliet's Blackburn Funeral Home to house their equipment as they're busy filming a new television pilot reportedly called "Single Drunk Female" at a house on Joliet's west side.
On Friday, crew and cast members were filming at a brick one-story house in the 1500 block of Mason Street on Joliet's west side. Two Joliet police cars blocked access from the west, but motorists traveling from Midland Avenue could drive up the street and see what's going on.
One of the neighbors told Joliet Patch's editor that the filming crews have been using the house since Tuesday. Another person in the neighborhood commented on Facebook that "I just asked a crew member in front of my house on Westshire what they're filming and it's called 'Single Drunk Female.'"

According to an article published Dec. 8 in Deadline, "Single Drunk Female follows a 28-year-old irreverent alcoholic Samantha Fink, played by Black-D’Elia, who, after a spectacularly embarrassing public breakdown, is forced to move back home with her overbearing mother to sober up and avoid jail time. But when her childhood best friend reveals surprising news, Samantha realizes she can no longer qualify as a party girl — she’s a walking disaster."'
