Now Hiring: Several Positions Available With Joliet Police Dept

This week, the Human Resources division of the city of Joliet announced several open positions with the Joliet Police Department. Two roles are available with each of the following positions:

· Patrol Officer: This entry-level position requires general police work and a variety of technical and administrative work to support the department.

· Police Lieutenant: Candidates for this position will perform a number of supervisory tasks and public safety assistance work, including assisting the police Captain with administration, direction and coordination of division activities in the Police Department.

· Police Sergeant: The individuals chosen for this role will supervise and coordinate work activities for police officers and civilians and perform specialized field and office police work for the department.
