Plainfield has a New Pride Organization

This is an announcement of the newly formed Plainfield Pride which is part of the Will County Pride Coalition. Led by Jes McIlvain, Executive Director; Sandy Costa (Foo), Secretary; Melissa Gross, Treasurer; and Summer Kornfeind, Communication Chair.

Plainfield Pride will be providing advocacy, events, education, and services for the LGBTQIA+ Community.

Plainfield Pride wants to collaborate with local businesses to raise awareness and funding for the services we hope to provide. As a pending 501c3 organization, we are working towards sustainable methods to fund services for the community.

Plainfield Pride will work to support local LGBTQIA+-owned businesses. If you own such a business and would like to be featured in our social media, and to participate in our events, please contact Jes McIlvain at chair.willcountypridecoalition@gmail.com.

Plainfield Pride will work to establish a helpful, vibrant presence in the community and is actively accepting volunteers.
