JOLIET, IL — A 42-year-old Joliet man has been charged with three felony counts of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images. The charges against Kenneth J. Handy were brought by the Crest Hill Police Department.

The criminal complaint states that on March 21, Handy intentionally disseminated a private sexual image of another person, who was at least 18 years old and "who is identifiable from the image itself ... and who is engaged in a sexual act ... performing oral sex on a male, and the defendant obtained the image under circumstances in which a reasonable person would know or understand that the image was to remain private."

The complaint against Handy also states that "he knew or should have known that ... the person in the image has not consented to the dissemination."
