Public Indecency Arrest Made At 7-Eleven: Joliet Police

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police officers have arrested a 22-year-old Burbank resident in connection with allegations that he exposed himself to a store clerk who works at the 7-Eleven in the 1600 block of East Cass Street.

Joliet officers arrested Ethan Demsco and charged him with public indecency and criminal trespassing. The arrest happened around 5:20 a.m. on Saturday.

Officers working the overnight shift were notified that someone in the store was exposing himself, police said.

"Officers determined that Demsco exposed his genitalia to the female store clerk, who then ordered him to leave the store," Joliet Police Sgt. Dwayne English stated. "Demsco left the store but returned a short time later and exposed himself to the clerk a second time and asked her if she liked it. The clerk then called 911. Demsco appeared intoxicated and was taken into custody without incident."

Joliet police later released Demsco from custody on an I-bond, police reports show.
