WILMINGTON, IL — The Wilmington Police Department is now trying to capture William C. Brown, a 38-year-old man from Sauk Village, in connection with a Jan. 30, 2020 head-on collision that killed his 57-year-old mother Annette Reed, also from Sauk Village.

Late last week, Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow filed three counts of reckless homicide and three counts of reckless conduct against Brown. Will County Judge Victoria Kennison issued a warrant for Brown's arrest and set his bail at $250,000.

As of Monday, Brown had not been taken into the custody of the Will County Adult Detention Center. Wilmington police told Patch that they are now in the process of trying to locate Brown.
