The Rialto Donates More Than $43,000 In Tickets To Veterans
The donation of 860 tickets for various shows was made possible by the organization Vet Tix.
In addition to entertaining the Joliet community with countless concerts, movies, exhibits and more, the Rialto Square Theatre also gives back. This week, it was announced that the historic theatre is donating more than $43,000 in tickets to veterans for the 2018-2019 season.
With the help of the national non-profit organization Vet Tix, 860 tickets were donated for various shows to local veterans. For a little more than a decade, Vet Tix has helped veterans and service members stay involved with their local communities, strengthened their family bonds and also created lasting memories.
“As the mother of a veteran, I love that we are able to support our local veterans in this simple way,” says Rialto Square Theatre Executive Director, Val Devine. “The feedback we receive after each performance is heart-warming. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Vet Tix for years to come.”
