Déjà Vu -- Lots of Cancellations Caused by Sub-Zero Temps

The majority of elementary, middle and high schools in the Joliet area -- as well as several other schools and agencies -- will be closed Monday because of the blowing snow and sub-zero temperatures being predicted.

It's a nearly identical repeat of the scenario that we experienced on Sunday, Jan. 6, when almost every school and many other offices and businesses closed because of arctic weather bringing in record lows the following Monday and Tuesday.

Here's the closing list as it stands right now. It could be changed as new information becomes available, and will be updated Monday as we learn of Tuesday closures.
