Shots Fired: 20 Shell Casings Found By Joliet Police On This Street

JOLIET, IL ? The Joliet Police Department issued a press release on Friday revealing that the officers found nearly 20 shell casings in a street as a result of a Thursday night gunfire incident on the east side of town.

At 10:47 p.m., the officers responded to the 700 block of Henry Street for a report of shots fired. Officers found nearly 20 spent shell casings in the street, police spokesman Dwayne English noted.

Officers conducted a canvass of the area and were unable to locate any persons or property that had been struck by the gunfire.
