The four were arrested following a high-speed chase on Joliet's west side Saturday evening.

JOLIET, IL — Three 21-year-old Joliet men and a 17-year-old boy were captured by Joliet police Saturday night following a high-speed chase that ended with a crash into another motorist's car at the northeast frontage road near Fiday Road. Eventually, Joliet police say they recovered a loaded gun from the fleeing car and made four arrests.
The four people in the fleeing car were being pursued from a drive-by shooting on Joliet's southeast side, in the 100 block of Fifth Avenue, police said.
Around 5:40 p.m., Joliet police converged on Fifth Avenue after a car was shot up, police said. Other officers later spotted the suspected carload of gunmen near Raynor Avenue and Black Road, reports show.
