Subway Restaurant On Jefferson Street: 'Priced to Move'

JOLIET, IL — If you've ever thought about being the owner of Joliet's Subway restaurant property at 1710 West Jefferson St., a golden opportunity now awaits you.

This week, the retail property near the busy Larkin Avenue and Jefferson Street intersection hit the Joliet real estate market.

The property is listed on the popular commercial real estate website LoopNet for $750,000. The Joliet Subway retail center consists of 6,000 square feet, and it's fully leased.

The Subway becomes the second major restaurant within the immediate area that is now for sale. On May 5, Joliet Patch broke the news that the long-time owners of the Big Apple Pancake House are trying to sell their sit-down restaurant at 106 North Larkin Ave. for nearly $2.2 million.

The Big Apple remains for sale, two months later.
