Minutes from the Aug. 16 city planning commission meeting state that "Warren Dorris, 1310 New Lenox Road, ... appeared regarding the Love's truck stop and stated it is a serious public safety issue. He and the other neighbors will be back when the annexations will be heard and they will voice their opinion at that time."

Earlier this week, the planning commission reviewed the Love's project and gave it a positive recommendation, according to this article in The Herald-News.
