What Should Go Here? Route 59 Restaurant Vacancy
What would you like to see open at this commercial strip mall?

JOLIET, IL - During the past few weeks, we've sought your feedback on some highly visible properties along Joliet's West Jefferson Street. One was the empty Kmart at Jefferson and Larkin. The other is the vacant title company building between the McDonald's and Burrito Loco. This week's "What Should Go Here?" question focuses on the empty Weng Lee Chinese Kitchen restaurant along Joliet's Route 59 corridor.
Other tenants in the commercial strip plaza tell Joliet Patch the site has been vacant for nearly a year. The vacant bay is between a Sprint store and a CD One Price Cleaners. An H&R Block is nearby.
What would work here? What would you like to see open here? Another Chinese restaurant? A clothing store? A flower shop?
