What's the Halloween Forecast? Not So Great
As of right now, rain seems unavoidable but at least it will be fairly warm in Joliet, according to the National Weather Service.

You might want to start thinking about integrating a raincoat and galoshes into your child’s Halloween costume.
The Chicago-area forecast isn’t looking so promising for Halloween. Granted, there’s time for it to improve. But as of Tuesday night, the National Weather Service based in Romeoville was calling for a 109 percent chance of rain during the day, falling to 60 percent at night. Daytime temperatures could get as high as 65 degrees, then fall to the mid-40s at night. Sunset on Halloween is at 5:46 p.m.
Trick-or-treating hours in Joliet are 3:30 to 6 p.m.
