WILMINGTON ? The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has filed two criminal charges this week against 38-year-old Wilmington resident Jimmy Rodgers, who was taken to the Will County Jail by the Wilmington police last weekend.

The complaint charges Rodgers with disorderly conduct and assault. According to the complaint, Rodgers, on Sunday, knowingly yelled and struck the outside of his neighbor's door in "such an unreasonable manner as to alarm or disturb another."

Rodgers must not leave the state of Illinois without permission from a judge and he is to have no contact with the Wilmington of his that he is accused of threatening violence, court records note.

Jail records indicate that Rodgers lives in the apartment units in the 100 block of South First Street. He was in the Will County Jail three different times in 2023.
