JOLIET, IL — A Minnesota woman was arrested this week in Joliet after she accidentally punched a 3-year-old child in the face during a fight with another woman, police said.

Ina King, 34, was booked into Will County jail Tuesday on charges of domestic battery and endangering the health or welfare of a child, jail records show.

Joliet police said officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Sudbury Drive around 1:20 p.m. after a disturbance was reported.

King is also accused of biting and scratching the adult woman, police said.

Jail records indicate King will make her first court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
