Blackberry Market Opens 2nd Location In La Grange

LA GRANGE, IL – A popular café and bakery in Glen Ellyn has expanded elsewhere in the west suburbs. Blackberry Market has opened a second location in the area at 36 South La Grange Road in La Grange. The husband and wife ownership team of Bob and Anna Davidson are thrilled to expand the reach of their handcrafted meals and memorable baked goods.

“We’re thrilled to open in La Grange and feel humbled to be welcomed into such a historic and vibrant community,” Anna Davidson said. “We look forward to establishing our roots here with our handcrafted offerings and feel-good environment. We want Blackberry Market to be an idyllic neighborhood spot for any occasion – be it a casual coffee meet-up, quick bite or weekend brunch.”

A grand opening week of specials will start at the new La Grange location on Tuesday, May 28 and last until Friday, May 31. During this time, guests will receive their choice of a free Market Side, Cinnamon Roll or Intelligentsia Drip Coffee with any purchase and proof of social media follow on Instagram or Facebook.

Menu items at the new café include sandwiches, salads and baked goods. Favorites at the Glen Ellyn locale have been the "Market Sides," which feature rotating seasonal options such as blackberry kale, chipotle sweet potato and strawberry quinoa. The cinnamon roll has been their signature offering, according to a news release announcing the opening.

A full catering menu will also be available.

The Davidsons opened the Glen Ellyn location in 2012.
