Dorothea A. Bilder will critique artwork produced by members and students of the LaGrange Art League at a special meeting on Sunday, April 21st at 2 p.m. at 122 Calendar Avenue. Bilder is known for her insight in critiques and her ability to deliver honest opinions.
She is an internationally acclaimed artist with expertise in all phases of print media and painting. Bilder received her BFA and MFA in painting from Illinois Wesleyan University and Southern Illinois University before distinguishing herself for over 35 years as a professor of fine art at Northern Illinois University. She is also an alumnus of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the School of Art in Terni, Italy. The program is free to members.
