La Grange Business Association Seeks Fall Interns

Know a college student looking for some business experience? The La Grange Business Association is seeking an intern to help out during the fall semester.

Do you know a college student who is looking for some real world experience to add to their resume? 

The is seeking interns to work for the association during the fall semester, from September through December. Interns will be expected to work for 14-18 weeks during the semester, with a focus on assisting with LGBA marketing, advertising and publicity efforts.

Students should expect to work between 8-16 hours a week from home.

Ideal candidates are college sophomores or juniors who are majoring in marketing, communications, public relations, or other related fields. Internship duties will include writing and distributing press releases; monitoring and posting to the LBGA's social media pages; assisting in the coordination of promotional efforts and special projects; attendance at committee meetings; filming and maintaining a photo gallery on the LGBA website and working closely with association members in the local business community.

The ability to work in a professional setting, being detail oriented and having good organizational skills is expected.

Students who participate in the LGBA's internship program will be paid a $500 stipend at the conclusion of the internship, and also have the option of applying to his or her school for college credit.
