La Grange Dental Office Will Buy Your Halloween Candy to Send to Troops
The Dental Loft participates in the Halloween Candy BuyBack program to send treats to troops.

La Grange dental office, The Dental Loft, 1 W. Harris Ave., is participating in a program to send Halloween treats to men and women serving overseas.
Operated through Operation Gratitude, dental offices nationwide participated in the Halloween Candy BuyBack Program (HCBB) to send care packages to the troops after Halloween.
From Nov. 4-7, The Dental Loft will pay $1 per pound of unopened Halloween candy donated at the office, limiting each donation to five pounds.
This is the second year the Dental Loft has participated in the buy back program, said Dr. Elly Eldeen.
The event started about eight years ago and has grown to be a "popular and successful" program, she said.
"We are really thrilled to participate in the Halloween Candy BuyBack because it is the perfect way to limit some of the sugary sweets our kids are exposed to while doing a thoughtful service to benefit our troops."
She said the Dental Loft is also asking children who donate candy to make a card for the troops to enclose in the packages.
