LT to Host Pom Pom Clinic

Girls ages 8-11 can learn the tricks from Lyons Township High School's pom squad at a clinic on Friday, Sept. 14. Registration for the clinic is tonight.

Have a daughter who wants to learn how to pom-pom?

Lyons Township High School's pom squad will host a clinic at the school's on Friday, Sept. 14 beginning at 3:30 p.m.

You'll have to act today if you want to sign up—LT said spaces are limited. Registration for the clinic will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fieldhouse.

The cost of the clinic will be $45, which will be used to support LT's pom squad. Each adult may only register two participants. Registration is limited to girls, ages 8-11.

At the clinic, future pom-pomers will learn a dance that will be performed at the halftime show of the sophomore football game that same day. Participants will also get pizza, a set of poms, a t-shirt and a picture with their pom mentor—a student on the freshman, sophomore or varsity Pom squad.
