LTHS's New Competitive Cheer Squad to Hold Donation Drive
The drive will take place Saturday, Nov. 19.

Lyons Township High School’s newest sport, Competitive Cheer, is looking for donations of gently used clothing and household items to kick off its first annual Donation Drive, Saturday, November 19, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the South Campus parking lot.
Acceptable donations include clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, books and small household items (no furniture). All goods collected will be sold to Savers, an organization that pays by the pound for every qualifying donation received. The goal of the drive is to raise $6,000 to support the Competitive Cheer team for new uniforms and the upcoming season.

“We are incredibly excited that LTHS now has a competitive cheerleading program, and we are thrilled to be making history at the school this year” says LTHS Competitive Cheer Head Coach Demi Korpan.
A brand new sport to the school this year, the Competitive Cheer Team will compete against schools across the entire state of Illinois. The team will also cheer at the varsity boys’ basketball games this upcoming season.
