Man Brings Concealed Gun Into La Grange Police Station: Cops
He is also accused of bringing the weapon into another government building.
LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange released its latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
- Raymond Tat, 26, of Chicago, was arrested at 5 p.m. Tuesday on two counts of possession of a concealed firearm in a prohibited area. He is accused of carrying a concealed gun in two prohibited government buildings. One of them was the La Grange police station, 304 Burlington Ave. According to the police department, Tat was not in custody at the time of the offense and he did not come into the station with the intent to commit a crime.
- Ernest Fanning, 29, of St. Louis, was arrested at 5 p.m. Tuesday at 2 N. Brainard Ave. on a Texas warrant charging larceny. He was arrested after an officer spoke with him about his complaint about unlicensed solicitors in the area.
- Elizabeth Rivas-Ribadan, 55, of Rosemont, was arrested about 11 a.m. Tuesday at 47th Street and Brainard Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
- A person stole a sump pump from a house in the 300 block of East Lincoln Avenue in the last three years. It was estimated to be $400 in value. The theft was reported last Saturday.
- A resident in the 10 block of Washington Avenue reported Wednesday that a federal Paycheck Protection Program loan was applied for in the resident's child's name. No financial loss was reported.
